Here, I present before you an amazing poem written by Anjali, a friend of mine. She wrote the poem long back, when she was a small child, studying in 6th standard. She was inspired by the work of Rabindranath Tagore and William Wordsworth. A few words about her. An excellent human being, with a great Soul. With Art in her blood she can make you think of the limitless horizons.

With your permission Anjali..

When the music of thy poem illumines the world
and its rhythm enlightens the sky
I feel that my heart melts into one sweet harmony
and my adoration to you grows in mystical depth
which spreads wings like a bird on its flight
I forget myself and yearn to merge in the classic poetry
then I see myself in the theme of the song
  captive in its magical spell.........

I struggle endlessly for a creation
but finds that my hardships are in vain
and i see that my master poet is on and on
from humerous notes to melancholy strain
his voice runs throughout the sky
a holy stream on to sinful lands
birds come to hear across the seas
  Plains,polars and arabian sands.
But i vainly struggle just for a voice
And i cry out in utter shame
Is it thoughts, words or notes I lack?
  Alas,will i gain a literary fame?
