Sasikala was here this morning. She was here to meet Sugathakumari teacher. I promised her long back to take her to teacher. She is a friend of mine. A Research Scholar at the IIT Madras, she has taken Gandhian Movement in Environmental Issues as her topic. We used to have extended sessions of chat on deep ecology and eco feminism. A simple girl with great thoughts and vast knowledge. We reached Abhaya( Teacher’s office) by eleven, the time teacher agreed to see us. The objective of the meeting was to give a serious thought on Gandhian Movements in Environmental issues in Kerala. I accompanied Sasikala so as to help her in setting the stage but the divinity which I saw was preventing myself from opening up too much.
Sasikala was stressing too much on Deep Ecology, Ecofeminism, Vegetarianism, religious and cultural aspects of the Issues. Teacher was in a peculiar mood. She wanted to open up but unfortunately we knew it was the same stuff she was telling us all these years.
Did we hear? The answer is a perfect No. But she read us very well. She gave us useful information on such issues. She was all the time worried about the new turn the world has taken. But the Aura which I saw was preventing me from opening up as it was in those previous cases where I have seen her. I was improving; I could feel the happiness rising within myself. I felt the energy transfer.I should visit Teacher more often.
Now it’s my responsibility to find out “Silent Valley – The Whisper of Reason”.
